Phalaenopsis Norman's Mist
Huge, nicely-shaped, flat white flowers that are close to 5″ wide! Prolific bloomer. These are mature size (but not currently in bloom) stem props (exact copies or clones of parent plant). Some are already beginning to spike/flower. Plant leaf span 9 to 10 inches in 3-4 inch pots. Limited.
Phalaenopsis Norman’s Mist is a renowned standard white orchid hybrid celebrated for its exceptionally large, "diamond-dusted" flowers that can reach up to 6 inches in diameter. Originally registered by Miyamoto in 1978, it is a cross between Phal. Sea Mist and Phal. Norman Peterson.
Flowers: The 5 inch blooms are pure white, well-rounded, and held gracefully on arching spikes.
Growth habit: Vigorous grower with spikes that can branch and even rebloom from old inflorescences under good conditions.
Blooming: Typically blooms once a year, often in late winter to spring, with flowers that can last several months.
